Tony Soprano Being Played By Chazz Palminteri Would've Been A Real Fucking Plot Twist

I'm kind've indifferent about this revelation. Very, very indifferent. Of course I love Chazz- who doesn't enjoy the hell doesn't? Between the 1-man play version of Bronx Tale, the actual movie version of Bronx Tale, and Analyze This he has earned his way into the upper echelon of mob movie actors. Not to mention also makes fire toks.

But could he have pulled off playing our king Tony Soprano? It's kinda like thinking about another guy fucking your wife...just something you don't let your cross your mind. A tall & lanky version of Tony sounds fucking TERRIFYING. One of the best aspects of Tony is how cute, cuddly, and pudgey he can when he's acting like a big ole bear around the house eating ice cream balanced on his stomach and shit. I don't know if I could handle a Tony Soprano that can't balance a bowl of ice cream on his rotund stomach.

Of course once you get into the other aspect of Tony's life, the actual mob, Chazz would surely succeed more over on that forefront. The first thing that pops into my head there is that it would've had to be a way more SERIOUS show which I'm so not in for. The genius of the Sopranos is that it's literally a comedy masquerading as a legit mob show & thank God it stayed that way.
